Tasks are document related job assignments that must be performed by infoRouter users.
Tasks can be assigned by authorized users to other infoRouter users.
Task assignees receive e-mail notifications for every task assigned to them and they can also track their tasks in the My Tasks window.
There are two types of tasks:
Tasks assigned by other users
These types of task are assigned by other users by clicking on a document action icon and choosing the "Create Task" menu.
These types of tasks can involve one or more of the following requests/requirements.
This requires the task assignee to edit the document to complete the task. It must be accompanied by an edit permission.
This requires the task assignee to read the latest version of the document to complete the task.
This requires the task assignee to read the published version of the to complete the task. It must be accompanied by an edit permission.
This requires the task assignee to enter task comments to complete the task.
This requires the task assignee to enter ISO comments to complete the task. ISO comments are stored in a special log file which can be used to verify that regular ISO reviews have been performed.
This requires the task assignee to enter SOX comments to complete the task. SOX comments are stored in a special log file which can be used to verify that regular SOX reviews have been performed.
This requires the task assignee to dispose the document to complete the task.
This requires the task assignee to archive the document to complete the task.
This requires the task assignee to downgrade the classification level of the document to complete the task.
This requires the task assignee to declassify the document to complete the task.
Workflow Tasks:
These types of tasks are assigned to users as a part of an ongoing workflow process and can involve the same requirements listed above.
