Notifications and E-mail / Task Notifications

Task notifications are e-mails sent to infoRouter users reminding them that a Task has been assigned to them and is pending.

The built in tasks in infoRouter are as follows:

Edit

This task is typically used in circumstances where a document is created by one author but another is needed to complete the document.

Read

This task is typically used by managers who wish to assign tasks to users. This task assigns a READ request to the selected users in the task.

Comment

This task is typically used in cases where comments of other users are requested. This task assigns a COMMENT request to the selected users in the task.

ISO Review

This task type allows users to specify ISO review tasks to documents.

infoRouter will automatically route documents with ISO review tasks to the individuals defined in the task. ISO review tasks are typically used in organizations wishing to obtain or maintain ISO Certifications.

SOX Review

This task type allows users to specify SOX review tasks to documents.

infoRouter will automatically route documents with ISO review tasks to the individuals defined in the task. ISO review tasks are typically used in organizations wishing to obtain or maintain ISO Certifications.

Disposition

This task is typically used by organizations who wish to destroy sensitive documents after their useful life has ended.

Archive

This task is typically assigned to an archive manager to manage the archiving of documents, libraries and projects after their active use ends.

Downgrade Classification Level

This task is used in environments where documents can be classified. A typical use for this task type is the automatic downgrading of the classification level of documents after a certain period.

Declassify

This task is used in environments where documents can be classified. A typical use for this task type is the automatic declassification of documents after a certain period.
