Transferring Ownership

Transfer documents, folders, and other assets from one user to another during role changes or employee departures.


When to Transfer Ownership

How to Transfer Ownership

  1. Click Control Panel
  2. Click Manage Users
  3. Select the user transferring assets
  4. Click Transfer Ownership in the sidebar
  5. Select the new owner
  6. Check the assets to transfer
  7. Click OK

Employee Departure

Select all options to completely transfer all infoRouter assets from a departing employee to their replacement. This ensures continuity and prevents orphaned content.

  • Review what's being transferred
  • Consider transferring in phases for complex transitions
  • Document the transfer for audit purposes
