Task Redirection

Redirect your tasks to another user when you're unavailable, such as during vacation or leave.


When to Use Task Redirection

Scenario Use Redirection
Vacation Redirect tasks during time off
Business travel Ensure coverage while away

How to Set Up Redirection

  1. Navigate to your Personal Dashboard (tab with your name)
  2. Click My Profile
  3. Scroll to Task Redirection section
  4. Click the properties icon next to "Redirect tasks to"
  5. Click Select to choose a user
  6. Pick one user from the list
  7. Enter the Start Date
  8. Enter the End Date
  9. Click OK

Redirection Settings

Setting Description
Redirect to User who will receive your tasks
Start Date When redirection begins
End Date When redirection ends

Important Notes

Limitations

  • Start date cannot be in the past (must be today or future)
  • Existing tasks are not affected (only future assignments)
  • Only one user can be selected as redirect target

Canceling Redirection

To stop redirection before the end date:

  1. Go to My Profile
  2. Clear the Task Redirection settings
  3. Save changes
