Notifications¶
infoRouter supports both on-screen status notifications and SMTP email notifications to keep users informed about document changes and workflow activities.
Notification Types¶

When Notifications Are Sent¶
Email notifications are sent when:
- Subscribed documents change — Updates to documents you're subscribed to
- Subscribed folders change — New documents or changes in folders you're subscribed to
- Workflow tasks assigned — You're assigned a review or approval task
- Workflow status changes — Documents you submitted complete workflow steps
Managing Notifications¶
You can control your notification preferences in your User Profile:

Subscription Notifications¶
Subscribe to documents and folders to receive automatic notifications when changes occur.
