What Is Folder Retention?

Folder retention applies a Retention and Disposition schedule to a folder, preventing its deletion until the defined retention period has elapsed.

Applying Folder Retention

  1. Navigate to the folder
  2. Click ActionFolder Properties
  3. Click Retention in the sidebar
  4. Select a Retention and Disposition schedule
  5. Click OK

Folder vs Document Retention
